Composite restorations closely match the rest of the tooth color so as to provide a seamless result. During a filling appointment, you will be given local anesthetic injection to numb the tooth. The damaged part of the tooth is carefully removed. Then, a bonding agent is applied followed by the filling material. The filling is contoured and smoothed to match the adjacent teeth and your bite. By the end of the appointment, the tooth will be ready to function normally.
