Restoring your smile and addressing cosmetic concerns can both be accomplished with porcelain veneers. These are thin, natural-looking facing that can cover common imperfections such as chips, discoloration, or asymmetric tooth size and position. If it is determined that you are a good candidate for veneers, we begin by conservatively prepping the teeth in order to make room for the porcelain material. Then, a digital scan is taken to create a computerized model of the teeth. A ceramist creates the veneers based on the prescription from the dentist, matching the aesthetics of the rest of the smile, so that the veneers are entirely natural looking when bonded into place. The veneers are then cemented onto the teeth, and patients are able to appreciate their new smile for years to come.
